There are running groups all over the shore! Some meet regularly at the same place; others change locations depending on the day. Check with each one for specifics. Some have membership opportunitites that include gear and race discounts. Enjoy the camaraderie and support your local club if you can!

Siren Striders, local runners Olivia Hudson and Jen Ward are leading a new group to highlight places to run in Delaware. Jen and Olivia are a mother-daughter duo who “wanted to create a community in the first state that emphasizes movement & fun. Kent Island Running Group, Kent Island, Maryland. The club hosts group runs twice a week on Tuesday at 6 p.m and Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at Macum Creek Rest Area Trailhead to run on the Cross Island Trail. Saturday runs are followed by coffee and treats at a local shop. KIRG also hosts local races and awards scholarships to high school seniors.

TEAM 360 provides motivation and support for people of different abilities, empowering and enabling them to train and participate in mainstream athletic events. PRSP Running Club, Pocomoke River State Park Running Club, Pocomoke, Maryland. This new club invites runners and walkers to meet at Shad Landing every other Thursday, 6 p.m., beginning July 16, 2026 through Nov. 5, 2026.
